PHA Specific Resources

Manual of Information (MOI) 22nd Edition (2017) - Above any other document or manual, the NPC Manual of Information is the primary resource for guiding a College and Alumnae Panhellenic. The Manual of Information includes NPC’s Unanimous Agreements, policies and best practices. Unanimous Agreements - Unanimous Agreements (UAs) are the principles, procedures and behavioral expectations considered so basic to ethical and harmonious intersorority life that they are binding on every NPC member organization. College and Alumnae Panhellenic Associations are required to operate according to these agreements, and all individual members must abide by them. Also included in the Unanimous Agreements are statements setting forth the rights of women’s sororities as private, voluntary social organizations. The Unanimous Agreements are adopted by a unanimous vote of the NPC Board of Directors and ratified by all 26 inter/national presidents. They can be amended by a five-sixth vote.

Panhellenic Association Constitution and Bylaws (Voted on March 21, 2017) - The Panhellenic Association (PHA) Constitution and Bylaws is a document of how the organization is structuered including, but not limited to, membership status, officer structure, committee structure and finances.

Judicial Procedures - Panhellenic Complaint Form - To file a complaint about a Panhellenic organization, please fill out this form and email it to the Panhellenic Vice President of Standards, Arianna Bartlett at gw.panhel.standards@gmail.com.

Judicial Procedures - Judicial Flowchart - This flowchart shows how a complaint will be filed and to what degree. A complaint form can lead to a mediation between parties (individuals or chapters) or it can lead to a judicial hearing.

Spring 2018 Recruitment Manual (Voted on April 11, 2017) - This Manual is to be used for GW's Panhellenic Recruitment process being held in January 2018. This manual covers a wide variety of topics including, but not limited to, NPC Manual of Information and Unanimous Agreements, Fines, Important Dates, and Rules and Procedures.

If a chapter is below total (medium chapter size) and wishes to have a new member class, then a COB Membership Acceptance Binding Agreement needs to be filled out by the Potential New Member (PNM). This Agreement needs to be turned in 24 hours after the date signed to the Panhellenic Advisor, Travis Roberts at travis_roberts@gwu.edu or turned into his mailbox on the 5th floor of the Marvin Center.
